Hi everyone, I am going to post what has happened the past few months....I don't mind if you do not read it all.
Hope you enjoy! :D
I have been doing this thing called "COLOR GUARD", some of you might of heard of it but I am assuming that you haven't. Have you ever watched the super bowl or even a parade and saw 4 people? 2 People with flags and 2 with riffles( I think that's how you spell it. ;) ) In the beginning my brother and his team mates rocked Wing Competition. ( The first competition) I was not on this team then. Then when they were training for Regional Competition one of they're team mates quit the team.
My dad couldn't find any one else to take this person's place; he decided to put me in the team! (By the way, :D my dad was helping out the team and training them.) Anyways, at first I thought I would let the team down! I was scared but my dad and my team believed in me. So I began to run 1 mile every day and we would sometimes run more than 2! ( We still do! :D)
We practiced every weekend. My dad started to throw in Wednesday and Friday then pretty soon..once it got close to the competition, we were practicing everyday of the week!
Then finally it got to the competition, I was soo scared! But we actually WON!!!!!!! We did good! So now are team is going to National Competition in Oregon! (the last competition!) In late June. So we are still spending a lot of time in this competition..hopefully we will win this last one!
By the way I was the Alternate... an alternate is someone who trains and does everything that all the people from any color guard do what they are supposed too with the team. If one of the team mates gets hurt or sick that person steps right in and does the real competition. IT HAS BEEN A CRAZY! YEAR! Oh and that's why I haven't been posting anything. :))
So any ways by!!!!!
Oh and if you didn't read it all it's fine. :D
